My mom is 91 years old and as you can imagine she has lived through much
and yet she is astounded by what we are living through at this time.
We are faced with isolation, worry about family and friends,
concern for our health professionals and care givers,
and yet we are persevering, reaching out to others with a wave,
a call, facetime, skype and zoom.
And most importantly, we are giving of ourselves through so many acts
of kindness, often by giving of our talents, creativity and crafts.
I am humbled to be a just a small part of all you are giving
and for some, providing the ability to keep your hands and minds busy.
Thank you for your notes, emails and pictures. They are what keep me going.

The Mask Project

Before I get into the "Yarn Stuff", I want to let you all know that as of today
you have provided us with the ability to donate over 3,000 masks to
a variety of hospitals, healthcare centers, nursing homes, hospice care centers,
senior centers and homeless service centers. And more are needed.
We will be providing more fabric kits to our mask makers who need them.
Please email with your request, but these kits are for donation.
I have received a number of requests to purchase masks and while we cannot
do that right now, we will sell you a mask kit with all the materials and directions.
These will be on our website shortly.

For those of you who want to participate in the Mask Project, but can't sew
there is now a new way.
Please visit Ravelry and find an "Ear Saver".
We know you have lots of scrap stash and these are the perfect project to either knit or crochet. If you make them, we will see that they get where they are most needed.
Drop them in the basket in our entry way and we will send them on.

Casapinka's LYS Shawl

We are part of Casapinka's very generous LYS Shawl event and have put a number of possible kit combinations on our Website. As we were preparing for the KnitNorth Yarn Crawl, we had brought in an enormous Baah Yarn trunk show with Aspen and LaJolla. We have each yarn detailed on the website, but have also put together some suggestions for combinations for this shawl.

You also have the option to go to the individual fingering weight yarns we have on the website and create your own combination. We are working to get all the colors loaded into the site.

We have added several new color combinations of Flecks with Shimmer for the Lumos shawl.

Lumos is a beautiful crescent shape Shawl.
We have shown three sizes above which was achieved by using different
size needles - from a US 5 - 7 / 3.75 - 4.5 mm
The choice is yours.

It is not too late to make our favorite "Well Dressed Bunny".

Kit includes one skein of Blue Sky Woolstok, safety eyes, wool stuffing and pattern.
A quick hunt through your stash will find plenty to make the jacket, vest or dress.

There are a lot of Bunnies out there so if you are ready for a Zoom Class, let's go.
