2020 Retreat Information and Registration is Open!!

Did you really think we wouldn't have a Retreat?
2020 has been quite the year, but we could not let it pass
without our Annual Retreat!

We are happy to finally announce "some" details of our Annual Retreat which will be on
the weekend of Friday, 30th October to Saturday, 1st November.

We did give our frequent travelers an early option to sign-up for the Retreat, which is over
and now it is open to all our customers. Here is a bit of detail we can share
about this year's retreat. We hope you can join us for this new experience
where you can enjoy all the fun of the retreat in your slippers and comfy chair!

First, the Retreat this year will be Virtual. We are so disappointed to not be at the Harraseeket Inn this year, but with travel restrictions and concerns for our Retreat-ers, we just cannot commit to having an in-person event. The good news is no travel involved. The bad news is none of the amazing food from the Inn. But I am sure we will come up with something??

Second, rather than having just one speaker/designer/teacher, we will be having a number of them with several projects. So who should we tell you about?

     Dee Hardwick - Dee is based in the Welsh countryside between the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons, where she lives with her family and has her own studio. There she finds endless inspiration in the natural world for her designs in a number of mediums. We know her for her amazing colors and intarsia designs she has created for Rowan.

     Georgia Farrell - Georgia's designs are based in her love of architecture which can be seen in her first collection for Rowan this Fall. Her fresh take on creating columns and triangular shapes within her designs make them distinctively her own. She will be joining us from London.

     Arne & Carlos - after being such a hit at our Retreat 2 years ago, we had to bring them back for a virtual visit. Even though they are taking some time out to rest and recharge from this difficult year, they have agreed to join us for, well, one never knows with them! But whatever they decide will be amazing.

So these are a few of the great people with whom we have been working
to bring you the best Retreat we can from the comfort of your own home.
While it won't be the same, we promise it will be great.

As in previous years we will be providing you with all the materials and yarns for all the projects, as well as Trunk Shows and Yarn Tastings from a number of yarn companies, Guided shopping with our retreat discount (as well as an in-store discount coupon), and of course, SWAG!

The Cost

Needless to say, the cost will not be what it would normally have been, but in truth
we are still working on arrangements with our speakers, so we have not finalized the cost, but expect it to be between $400-$450.
