The Shop

We want to take a moment to check-in with all of our amazing customers to let you know we are thinking of you and all your families during this crazy time.  We hope that you have been healthy and safe through this pandemic.

At the shop, we have been working to make sure we are keeping a clean and safe environment for all of you and our team.  You do not need an appointment to shop with us, but you do need to make an appointment for help.  All we ask is that you wear a mask and use hand sanitizer when you come in to the shop.

We have had a variety of reactions to our new look of only one skein of each yarn and each color out.  Some are shocked and concerned that we only have "one" skein.  Be assured, we have plenty.

And just a reminder of our Summer hours
Tuesday - 10 am to 7 pm
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday - 10 am to 5 pm
Sunday and Monday - Closed

We know how much everyone wants to be back in the shop for our Group Classes, but we are trying our best to be responsible and protective of our clients.  At this point, we do not know when we will be offering these Classes, but we are constantly reviewing the situation.

Sweater Club to Start

A new year of Sweater Club is about to begin this Thursday with the announcement of our new sweaters.  If you would like to join, please go to our website and purchase your membership.  Once you have done that, you will receive an email on how to register for our Zoom sessions.

We typically meet once per month to review parts of the sweater patterns and how people are getting on with their projects.  We will be looking to our participants about adding meeting - possibly every two weeks.

We will also be segmenting the sessions into a Class Segment and then a Review Segment.  The Class Segment will focus on the fundamentals of the Sweater Process and the specifics of the Sweaters each has chosen.  We will start with measurements, gauge, adjustments to patterns and casting-on.
Further class segments will be on reading a Chart, working Cables, making lace, etc.  Because we are distant, I want to make sure everyone is learning and honing their skills as they make their sweaters.

For those of you who have not participated in the Sweater Club before, here is how it works:

  1. 1.  Annual membership fee of $50

    2.  You will be eligible to participate in any or all of the Sweater Club choices held during

  2.          the year – typically two per year.

    3.  You will receive a 20% discount on the yarn for the chosen sweater.

  1. 4.  You will receive a 10% discount on other yarns purchased throughout the year,

  2.          excluding special orders.

  1. 5.  You will be able to purchase the pattern book(s) at 30-40% off should the pattern appear

  2.          only within a book.  Otherwise, you will receive copies of the patterns for free.  You

  3.          will also receive all notes we have developed for chosen sweater such as charts, etc.

  1. 6.  You will be able to attend all meetings and/or classes for the sweaters.

  1. 7.   The Class will meet monthly, possibly more frequently as we are distance learning.

  2.          There will be three sessions from which to choose depending on your schedule.  The

  3.          times for the class sessions are the second Thursday of the month at either 1-4 pm or

  4.          6-9 pm or the following Saturday afternoon from 1-4 pm.
