Before I say anything about the shop,
all of us and our families are hoping you are all staying safe,
staying healthy, and staying home.
Please take care of you and your loved ones.

I would also ask that you remember in your thoughts one of team
who lost a very dear one this week.  I do not want to
disclose anything further about this to respect her privacy, but
she needs your love and heartfelt thoughts right now.
Please do not email me to ask, as I will not be saying anything further.

We will be setting up a Virtual Trunk show this weekend
for Baah Yarns.  We received a huge shipment of
LaJolla and Aspen.
We will send a separate email with details.

Sweater Club
I think it might be a good time to have a Sweater Club
check-in, so let's do that this weekend too.
That will be in the email as well.

Face Masks

I cannot thank you all enough for the amazing outpouring of support for this project.
We had several people donate fabric from their stashes, and
elastic as well.  Just today, I sent out 25 packages of fabric to those who requested
face mask kits.  Each kit contains 4 yards of fabric
(2 for the outside and 2 for inside - and yes I did try to coordinate them).
The feedback on the first group of masks that went out - 146 of them was
"Great, We love Them, Thank You so much, and
the potholder loops and the ties work the best"

So where are the potholder loops?
I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in Harrisville Yarns.
I ordered 10 pounds of the loops on Sunday with priority shipping.
I called Monday morning to see if I could pay more for overnight and
told them what we were using them for, but was
told no because they were "probably" already in shipping.
I called yesterday, Wednesday morning, to get tracking information,
was told they would get back to me, and at 4.00 pm was told they didn't
have tracking information because it was "probably" in shipping.
There was another comment about this being for kids and they had yarn
to get out - so you can imagine I will be having a chat with the owner
once we get back to some semblance of order!  Oh well.  Maybe today or tomorrow.
For those to whom I sent kits, I will send a separate packet of loops.

Now with much reluctance, I have put a place on our website to provide donations
to the face mask project.  Many of you have asked how to contribute and I
have shrugged it off, but one of you told me that it wasn't right because it was
there only way to contribute to this effort.
So you can go to the Website Shop and you will see a place to donate.
Thank you in advance.  Your continued support has meant the world to me.

Now if you want a good laugh - you can go to the video recording of our
Face Mask session from last Sunday - just the first few minutes.
I thought it didn't record until the meeting started - didn't know it
recorded from the minute I signed on....

But if you want help with making the masks, here is the site.
Meeting Recording - enter this in your browser and again my apologies
(speed through first few minutes):

For those of you making masks, you can drop them in the basket at the shop,
or you can send to my home.  Email me for the address.
If you received a kit from me in the mail, they are in returnable envelops to make
it easier for you.

I am trying to keep packets of fabric in the basket at the shop.
I will be adding loops to the basket as soon as I get them.
