| To all our customers, We are all going through a very difficult time at present, worried about our families, friends, and all around us. We are taking on all the recommendations of the experts to do our part to help slow the spread of this virus so that everyone has a fighting chance to get what they need. With all of this going on around us, the yarn shop is probably not the first thing on your minds, however, over the past week, we have seen quite a few of you as you look for that project to help calm your mind. That is what we are here for and that is what we hope to continue to do as long as we can. Until we are directed otherwise, here is our plan: 1. Our hours - we have shortened our evening hours Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday - 10 am to 5 pm Tuesday and Thursday - 10 am to 8 pm Sunday 1 - 5 pm 2. Our Classes - we will be curtailing our regular 2 hour Drop-In Classes. You are free to come in to the shop at any time for help getting back on track. If you would prefer to set up an Appointment instead, please call the shop to do so. In either case, we are relying on you to refrain from coming if there is any possibility of your being unwell or having been exposed to the virus. We are working with Zoom video conferencing to set up a free access link so that we can also meet with you over your computer or phone because sometimes you just have to see what to do. We can also do this with video phone calls if that helps. 3. Special Classes - we are cancelling our Special Classes for the present. We will reach out separately to those of you have signed up for these classes. 4. Shopping - You have several choices for shopping with us in addition to coming to the shop, although that is currently still an option. We have on-line sales and are offering free shipping for the near future. We will also do parking lot delivery. And we will look at the possibility of delivering your purchase to your door if need be. We are also providing 15% off all yarn for the next few weeks. If you wish to purchase on-line, the coupon code is AY15. Please feel free to share this with anyone. As for the shop itself, we will continue cleaning and disinfecting all the tables, chairs, doorknobs, bathrooms, Pattern Binders and all other surfaces with which you may come into contact. We apologize for the smell of Lysol, Alcohol and Bleach. All of this being said, we may need to close at any time. We want to thank you for your continued support and know that there will be lots of stash projects to inspect when this has passed, as well as a host of new projects you have queued up on Ravelry. As so many of you have shared, this is a tough time for everyone, but especially for your local providers. We are not alone as we see the impact just in our own group of shops - the hairdresser, the spa, the dance studio and the restaurants across the street. And this is being felt in each of your communities as well. We know that just as you support us, you will support them. One way to do that is to buy a Gift Card.
