So let's do a quick update on what we know so far...

We are planning to stay open for the foreseeable future.
If at anytime, the team is uncomfortable, we will revisit this decision.
We have been cleaning all the surfaces regularly and
all you can smell in the shop is Lysol and Bleach - thanks to our Marcie and Dee...
We leave it to your best judgement on how to proceed.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call or email us.

Sweater Club will meet this week,
Thursday, 12th March at 1 - 4 pm or 6 - 9 pm
or Saturday, 14th March at 1 - 4 pm
We will be announcing the Spring Sweater(s) at this meeting!

KnitNorth Yarn Crawl, 19th - 22nd March is Still ON!

Techniques Classes
It has been a while since we have done our series of Techniques Classes, so we have decided to bring them back.
These classes are designed to focus on one particular technique with various ways to do them.
We are going to start with a couple of basics:

Short-Rows - almost every pattern/design we see has short-row shaping.
While some of us are familiar with doing short-rows, which one is best to use for which project
and, more importantly, why?  Join us on
Tuesday, 17th March  from 1.30 - 3.30 pm to perfect your short-rows
The cost of the Class is $25.00 and all materials will be provided.

Seams - very few people like to put their projects together, but a great seam can either make or break a
project.  There are some very simple tricks to the trade that can make seaming
much easier and less of a dreaded part of your knitting / crocheting.    Join us on
Tuesday, 24th March from 1.30 - 3.30 pm and you will learn to like seams.
The cost of the Class is $25.00.  Bring a project that needs putting together or bring
several 5" blocks of both Stockinette and Garter stitch on which to work.

More Class will be announced shortly.

On-going Classes / Drop-in Sessions plus Social Night are still scheduled.

We offer a variety of Classes and Drop-in sessions Knitting, Crochet, Weaving, and Spinning.

Drop-in Sessions provide a qualified teacher to guide you through the start of a new project, a project problem,or learning a new technique / skill.  Drop-ins are offered weekly on:

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Mornings from 10 am to noon
Wednesday Afternoon from 1 to 3 pm
Tuesday Evenings from 7 to 9 pm (both Knit & Crochet)
Friday Morning from 10 am to noon for Crochet

The cost of a Drop-in Session is $15 for a Single Class or $ 60 for a series of 5 Classes
for use when you need to use them.

Social Night is open from 6-9 pm to all who want to come and knit, crochet, spin and chat.
Spinners join us on a particular Thursday evening once per month.
