Beginner Knitting - come for a 3 session class to learn all the basics of knitting while creating a gorgeous stitch sampler Cowl. We will walk you through all the skills necessary to cast-on, knit, purl and create combination stitches. You will receive all the materials necessary for your class and cowl, including your beginner knitting kit. The cost is $80, plus 20% off all purchases for the day. There are 2 sessions to choose from: Saturday, February 2nd, 9th, 16th from 10 am to noon or Thursday, February 7th, 14th, 21st from 10 am to noon Beginner Crochet - the hottest trend is Crochet and we have the best beginner class. Over three sessions, you will learn the basic stitches will making a beautiful cowl, practicing a granny square (have to learn this) and much more. You will receive all the materials necessary for your class and cowl, including your beginner knitting kit. The cost is $80, plus 20% off all purchases for the day. There are 2 sessions to choose from: Thursday, February 7th, 21st and 28th from noon to 2.00 pm Saturday, February 9th, 23rd, and March 2nd from 10 am to noon Portuguese Knitting Workshop - Several of our knitters use this amazing technique which comes with the benefits of being more ergonomic and possibly faster. The Class will provide you with the history and benefits of the technique along with practice. All materials are included. The cost is $65, plus 20% off all purchases for the day. Saturday, February 23rd at 1.00 to 4.00 pm Toe-up Socks - we love making socks at the shop and many people have asked for a toe-up, magic-loop class, so here it is. Three sessions will work you through casting-on, turning your heel and finishing off your sock. You will leave all the skills necessary to keep your friends and family toasty worm with gorgeous socks. All materials are included, plus 20 off all purchases for the day. The cost is $70. Thursday, February 8th, 15th, and 22nd from 1.00 to 3 pm Crochet and Felted Bowls - we will be doing another one of our fun joint classes on Saturday, March 9th from 1.00 to 4.00 pm. The class is $75 with all material included, plus 20% off all purchases for the day (and we know you will want to make more of these!) Crochet nesting bowls are just gorgeous made in a combination of cotton and and hemp. It is the perfect project for any new crocheter. Knitted felted nesting bowls are perfect for any level of knitter, plus you learn a new technique - felting.
