Working with 5 glorious colors of Manos Serena, you will expand your knowledge of Crochet and make a fabulous shawl in no time. You will come away with a working knowledge of the basics of Crochet by learning the simple stitches used in the Shawl. You will also learn shaping which can sometimes be tricky with Crochet. In the end, you have a beautiful finished Summer Shawl.

Using the beautiful Tanis Shawl pattern by Romi Hill, you will learn several techniques including, basic triangular shawl construction, lace knitting, picot edging and of course bead-work. The class is held over three sessions, each designed to get you moving on your shawl and keep you going. This is a beautiful piece that you will wear and treasure for quite some time.

This class is for all those who have been afraid to make socks. Lesley will take you through the basic construction of the sock by working a mini-sock during your first class. Your second class will get you going on your very own sock from taking measurements, to picking the best yarn. Do not let socks frighten you any longer.

If you have always wondered what it would be like to Crochet, this is your class. You will learn all the basic steps to Crochet and then begin to work a beautiful Granny Square design to help you practice. Our sample was made with Berroco Nebula which does all the color switching for you!

Mosaic Knitting is a technique utilizing multiple colors and a series of slip-stitches to give you the desired effect of bricks, chevrons, checker boards, and a variety of others. The key is that you are only ever working with one color at a time in a specific row. Once you have mastered the technique, the options are limitless. Join us for this introductory class which will be held over two sessions during which you will learn the techniques while making the gorgeous two-color cowl.

In order to fix your mistakes when knitting, you need to understand what the stitches should look like. This class will focus on the anatomy of a stitch and more importantly how to recognize and fix your mistakes in plain stockinette to textured stitches to cables to lace - without ripping all the way back.

There are any number of ways to seam your knitting. This class will walk you through the various ways of seaming your pieces from mattress to butting to kitchener to three-needle bind-off. By the end of this class, you will be comfortable working seams in any direction.
