The COST of Classes or Help Sessions is $12 per visit, or $60 for a series of 6 which can be used at either and whenever is most convenient for you.
Private lessons can be arranged, so please call to discuss your needs.

Bergere de FranceWe have a number of great models from both the Origin' and Bergere collections as well as lots of colors in their wonderful yarn. Please come by and see what is possible with this fabulous French yarn. The designs are absolutely gorgeous. We will have this show for two more weeks so please come by.
Clean-up, Clear-our, and Donate -
Thank you again for all the wonderful donations. Doesn't it feel good to clear out that left-over stash! We continue to send at least two large bags of yarn to the ladies each week and they are delighted! Feel free to drop off any yarn, full or partial skeins and we will get them to one of several Senior Centers with whom we work! If you have a Senior Center or group to whom you would like us to consider donating, just drop us an note.
Knit to Flatter
We will be announcing another class shortly so stay tuned. For those of you who didn't hear, the following is the class description.
Do you ever wonder why some sweaters make you look like a supermodel and others make you look more like a hobbit? Have you ever knit a sweater that looked stunning on the page only to be disappointed when you wore it for the first time? In this class, Amy will teach you the tools you need to produce sweaters perfect for Your figure every time you pick up the needles.
Topics covered in class include:
We ask you to bring along a tape measure, sweaters you've knit, patterns you are interested in and your adventurous inner knitter! As we will be taking pictures of you during the class, please come wearing (or be willing to change into) a tight-fitting top and relatively fitted pants/skirt!

Classes and Events
Our next class will be offered on Februaru 10th and 24th. This will be an Open Weave class, so you can make any basket you'd like! The cost of the class is $195 which includes all materials and tools. Call or email for more details or visit us to see samples of these great treasures.
We are also considering scheduling an oval basket class and would like to know who's interested in taking their weaving to the next level.
The "Why Wait" Christmas Stocking Workshop -The Start Date has been changed to Sunday, 10th February. I guess there are people who just can't miss the Super Bowl!
During November and December of last year, we had a number of frantic knitters working on their Christmas Stockings. Why do we wait until then? Let's try to get a head start. We will be hosting a series of workshops on making the perfect Christmas Stocking. We have lots of Patterns, yarns, and kits to choose from and will be helping you with techniques such as stranded color knitting, intarsia, duplicate stitch, heels and toes. The workshop will meet on Sunday from 1 to 3 pm. Other times will be available if we have sufficient need, so let us know what works for you. The workshop will be 4 sessions for $75. You will receive 10% off all materials purchased for the workshop.

Sunday, 17th February - 2nd Workshop - Intarsia, Stranding, Colorwork will be the focus of this workshop.

CRAFT CAMP is BACK!
The week of 18th - 22nd February, we will once again be hosting Craft Camp for young ladies and gentlement from 8 to 14 years old. Each day, will have a new craft to learn and take home to practice. The sessions will be 3 hours from 10 am to 1 pm, and feel free to bring your along your favorite snack. You can sign up for specific days or the whole week.
The fee for 5-day Camp is $130, or if you choose to take the daily option, the fee is $30 per day. Please email or call to register.
Knitters and Crocheters of all levels are invited to join our regularly scheduled weekly classes. If you want to just come and try a class, the cost is $12. If you want to join the class on a more frequent basis, you can purchase a class card of 6 classes (not consecutive) for $60.

Fix-it Sessions -Feel free to come in, sit, and sort out any questions, problems or project issues with a member of our team. The sessions are $12 for an individual session or $10 if you have purchased a Class Card (see below). There is no need to call ahead, just come on it. Sessions will be available on:
Mondays from 1 - 4 pm
Many of you have stopped by to ask for a beginner class, though quite a few of you have mentioned you have knit in the past. To get everyone up to speed, we are offering a beginner/refresher course. The program will run for 4 weeks and provide you with all the necessary skills to get ready for your first "big" project". With the class you will receive The Knitters Kit of needles and yarn for practice. The cost of the Course is $65.00 and meets every Thursday Morning 11 am - 1 pm with Pat. Please call or email to register for this Class. The classes are conducted on a rolling-admissions basis, so start when you can and continue for 4 sessions as fits your schedule.
Learning Together Class
We have also had many requests for a Mother/Daughter class and so to make it as open as possible, we will be offering this program to any Parent, Aunt, Uncle, Cousin, or Friend and their young ladies and gentlemen. This has been the most difficult to schedule as there are so many activities, but we will give it a try with two sessions to see what works best. The program will run for 3 weeks and provide you with all the necessary skills to get ready for your first "big" project". With the class you will receive The Knitters Kit (needles and yarn for your stitch practice. The cost for each will be $50.00. Please call or email to register for this Course. The sessions will be:

Kumihimo - Basic Necklace
We will be offering classes on the classic art of Japanese Braiding - Kumihimo. If you have never seen it, we have numerous samples on hand at the shop. During the class you will complete a necklace using your choice of two or three colors of satin cord. The cost of the class is $45 and includes all supplies including the clasp. The dates we have for this include:

Kumihimo Beaded Bracelet
For those of you having taken Kumihimo - Basic Necklace, we now have Kumihimo with Beads. During the class, you will complete a bracelet in your choice of colors. The cording, 8 full strands of beads and clasps are included. Please bring your disk and bobbins, if possible. If you need more, we will have them here for you to borrow. The cost of the class is $50 and you need to have completed a basic Kumihimo class. The dates we have so far are:
